Photographing large sculpture

This photo shows lighting from above and from the sides to elicit qualities within the work. I consider the shape and texture of art but always try to make the work stand out, not the photography. The video shows setting up with a white backdrop and strobe lighting.

Well-photographed images of your work show you are serious. I use UV and polarizing filters on lights and lenses. I make certain work is color balanced, squared up, and if needed, ready for printing.
